Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, who was known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, writer, teacher, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk starred in numerous commercials for children. Silk completed her studies at St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and progress, and then moved she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in a Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk has played a range of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale. She announced the news to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode premiered on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren the actress (Zoie) as one of their top television couple. Entertainment Television.
