Katarina Witt measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Katarina began skating on ice when she was five. It was not long before her talents became apparent, and in Karl-Marx-Stadt she was accepted into the school that was specifically made for kids with sporting talents. The school was where she was introduced to Jutta Muller here. Witt was able to make her mark in the year 1982 when she placed second in the World Championships at Copenhagen. Her graceful and elegant style caught the attention of everyone, and from that point ahead she became the dominant figure skater in the sport. Olympic Success At Sarajevo, at the Sarajevo Winter Games in 1984, Katarina won the gold medal in figure skating for women following a heatedly-contested competition. In a tighter competition the following year, Witt was awarded the gold medal. The free skater was unable to win however, she took home the gold medal for the mandatory figures and her program was short. Witt is the only female figure skater to have won the same event twice since Sonja Heine. Hall of Fame Witt, who made it big in film acting, then returned for figure skating, competed at the Lillehammer Winter Games 1994. The crowd was captivated by her, despite her having finished seventh. Witt was inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame by the members of it in 1995.
